Indian Navy Unfurls World's Largest National Flag In Mumbai: Navy Day
Celebrating National Navy Day, the Western Naval Command unfurled the world's largest national flag at the Naval Dockyard in Mumbai on December 4. It also overlooked Mumbai's iconic Gateway of India. The flag was made of Khadi by the Khadi and Village Industries. Reportedly, the flag measured 225 feet in length, 150 feet in width and weighed around 1,400 kg.

PM Modi Extends Greetings On National Navy Day
Appreciating the Indian Navy's role in protecting the country, PM Narendra Modi on the National Navy Day extended his greetings to navy personnel and their families. "The Indian navy fearlessly protects our coasts and also renders humanitarian assistance in times of need," tweeted PM Narendra Modi on December 4. To appreciate the role of the Indian Navy in the 1971 India-Pakistan War, December 4 is celebrated as National Navy Day.
