Gangster Jarnail Singh Shot Dead, Police Launches Investigation
Gangster Jarnail Singh was killed by four armed people who attacked him. Singh reportedly belonged to the Gopi Ghamshampuriya gang, and his murder is alleged to be a result of gang rivalry after his rivals learnt that he was out on bail. Furthermore, after being informed about the incident which was caught on CCTV camera, police rushed to the crime spot to investigate the matter.

PM Modi Again Raises Temple Vandalism Issue In Australia, Albanese Assures Action
PM Narendra Modi raised the issue of temple vandalism in Australia and asked for prevention in this regard. Railways To Have Signages For Ease Of Passengers
Signages at railway stations across India will be standardised on the basis of colour, font and the use of pictograms for the ease of passengers, Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said on Monday as he released a booklet containing details of the project. The Indian Railways, which is redeveloping 1,275 stations across India under the 'Amrit Bharat Stations Scheme'. The changes will enhance passenger's experience at railway stations.

Transgenders Qualifies Physical Examination For Constable In India
For the first time in India, transgenders have cleared physical examinations for recruitment in the police. As per sources, four transgender candidates have cleared the physical exam for the post of police constable and will now appear for the written exam on May 7. In total, out of seven lakh candidates, 83,745 have cleared the physical test, of which four are transgenders, who were allowed to appear for examination.

Operation Kaveri, 1st Batch Leaves Conflict Hit Sudan
The first group of Indians stranded in Sudan has left the conflict-hit nation in an Indian Navy warship for Saudi Arabia's Jeddah. Foreign Ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi tweeted photos of the Indians on board the INS Sumedha. Some held the national flag to thank the government for arranging for their evacuation. The evacuation is being held as Operation kaveri, launched and being held by the Union Government.

Bomb Hurled Near Atiq Ahmed's Lawyer's Residence In Prayagraj
