Raigad Rescue Operation Officially Ended, 57 People Missing
The rescue operation for the Raigad Landslide incident ended officially on July 24. As per sources, at least 27 bodies were recovered from the debris and 144 were rescued. Although 57 people are still missing, the villagers in Irshalwadi tribal region, requested the disaster management rescue team to call off the operation, as majority of bodies are decomposing and risk of infection is increasing, troubling the residents.

Delhi Hit By 2.7 Magnitude Earthquake, 2nd Time In Day
In 24 hours, Delhi citizens witnesses another jolt of 2.7 magnitude earthquake, confirmed Meteorological department. Earlier in the morning of March 22, the national capital witnessed a earthquake. 4.3 Magnitude Earthquake Jolts Andaman & Nicobar Islands
An earthquake of 4.3 magnitude on Richter scale jolted Andaman and Nicobar islands, on June 21. The earthquake had a depth of 10 km and occured 183 km southwest of Port Blair at around 7:15 am. According to a tweet made by the National Center for Seismology (NCS), the earthquake had a latitude of 10.39 and longitude of 91.69.

Taal Volcano In Philippines At Level 3 Alert; Planes Restricted From Flying Over
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology has increased the alert level for Taal Volcano to level 3 (out of 5). The move has come after the volcano spewed fumes and created earth tremors at around 7:22 am (local time). The institute has also warned locals to stay out of the volcano island and advised planes to not fly over it. Taal Volcano erupted in January, 2022, displacing 380,000 villagers.

Massive Earthquake Hits Western Indonesia; 10,000 Buildings Destroyed, 7 Dead
A massive earthquake measuring 6.1 magnitude in the richter scale, hit Indonesia's Western province of West Sumatra, on February 25. Andaman & Nicobar Island's Diglipur Hit By 4.0 Magnitude Earthquake
Diglipur area of Andaman and Nicobar Islands experienced an earthquake on October 27, in the morning. According to the National Center for Seismology, the 4.0 magnitude earthquake took place at a depth of 80 kilometer south and 90 kilometer south east. Magnitude 6.2 Earthquake Strikes Taiwan's Yilan County
The China Earthquake Networks Center said Taiwan's Yilan County experienced an earthquake magnitude of 6.2 at 1:11 PM on October 24. Yilan County is located in the eastern part of Taiwan. Reportedly, the epicenter was reported to be monitored at 24.61 degrees in the northern latitude, while in the eastern latitude, it was at 121.73 degrees. However, any reports of casualties haven't been reported so far.

SDRF Rescues 60 & Found 5 Bodies In Uttarakhand's Bageshwar
During the search and rescue operations, Uttarakhand's State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) has rescued a total of 60 people in the Bageshwar district. Besides, five bodies were also recovered from the Sunderdhunga Glacier region in the district. Search and rescue operations by the SDRF is still ongoing in the rain-affected areas since October 17. Reportedly, 64 people have been found dead so far and 11 are still missing.
