China & Solomon Islands Sign Agreement Amid Security Risks

6.0 Magnitude Earthquake Hits Indonesia
A 6.0 magnitude earthquake has hit the island of Sulawesi in Indonesia. Neither any casualty, nor any loss of property, has been reported so far. Sharing details about the earthquake, the National Center for Seismology (NCS) wrote in a tweet that the earthquake had hit 779 kilometres NNE of Kotamobagu in north Sulawesi on 19th April at 6:53 IST. Earthquake Of Magnitude 3.8 Jolts Ukhrul: Manipur
In Manipur's Ukhrul, an earthquake of magnitude 3.8 on the Richter scale was reported by the National Centre for Seismology (NCS) on November 9. Reportedly, tremors were recorded at a depth of 60 kilometers at 9:47 am in the Shirui area of Ukhrul. Earlier, an earthquake of magnitude 4.4 on the Richter scale was also recorded on November 9, in the Ukhrul district of Manipur.

Haiti Earthquake: Death Toll Up 2,189, Over 300 Missing
The death toll in the Caribbean nation rose to 2,189 after the nation was struck by a deadly earthquake that did lots of damage, destruction, and death on August 16. Over 300 people were reported missing, while,12,260 people were injured and thousands more displaced. A one-month state of emergency has been declared by the government in four regions that were heavily damaged.

77 Dead, 47 Missing After Deadly Flood & Landslide Hits Turkey
The death toll from Turkey flash floods that occurred last week has risen to 77, and missing reports stand at 47. However, 62 out of 77 died in Kastamonu province, while 14 died in Sinop and one in Bartin. According to the reports, as many as 40 villages face complete power-cut. Moreover, the rescue operations are underway and have managed to evacuate 2000 people.

Earthquake Of 7.2 Magnitude Kills 300, Injures 1,800 In Haiti
An earthquake of magnitude 7.2 struck southwestern Haiti on the morning of August 14 killing at least 300 people and injuring over 1,800. The tremors of the quake were felt in neighboring Cuba as well. The new prime minister Ariel Henry declared a one-month state of emergency, saying the government will deploy all resources to help those who are in need.

Israel To Send Planes & Firefighters To Help Greece With Wildfire
An unusual heatwave in late July swept across southern Europe causing heavy wildfire in many countries like Italy, Spain, Greece, Turkey, and many others. Greece and Turkey were the most affected regions with 568 wildfire incidents. Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett has promised its Greek counterpart that Israel will assist and aspire to send three planes with extinguishers in addition to 15 Israeli firefighters to help Greece.
