Navi Mumbai Police Returns Stolen Valuable Worth Crores Under 248 Cases
The Navi Mumbai police returned stolen valuables worth Rs 5.41 crore recovered in 248 cases of thefts and robberies at a programme in Vashi, confirmed officials. The valuables were stolen in thefts and robberies that took place between January 2022 and July 2023. Stolen jewellery and cash worth more than Rs 2.09 crore, while vehicles, mobile phones and other gadgets worth more than Rs 3.32 crore were received.

9 Minor Girls Rescued In Navi Mumbai; Police Files FIR Against Orphanage
An FIR has been lodged against an orphanage in the Kharghar District of Mumbai, claiming to be illegally accommodating nine minor girls. Notably, the orphanage has not been approved or registered by any of the concerned government departments. The District's women and child development officer have registered the case under Section 41 (adoption) and Section 42 (foster care) of the Juvenile Justice Act, 2000.
