Wish Of Eating Non-Veg Food During Navratri Kills Woman

In a shocking incident, a man killed his wife in rage after she demanded non-vegetarian food during Navratri. Reported in Bantikhera Village in Shamli, the incident shook netizens. Shamli ASP OP Singh confirmed the incident saying, the accused identified as Anshu killed his wife Esha and dumped her body in a well. Anshu confessed his crime and has been sent to jail. Furthermore, an investigation is underway.

Meat Shops To Remain Shut During Navratri: Delhi Civic Body

The Delhi Municipal Corporation issued notice, ordering closure of meat shops in view of the ongoing Navratri festival. The Hindu festival started from April 2 and will continue till 11 April, during which no meat shop will remain open, said Mayor Mukesh Suryan. He further urged CM Arvind Kejriwal to issue similar notice, ordering to shut liquor shops in the national capital. The mayor cited religious sentiments of devotees reason.
