The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has unearthed 30 Kg of explosives during a de-mining exercise in Chattisgarh’s Dantewada district. 1 CRPF Jawan Dead, 10 Jawans Injured After IED Explodes In Chhattisgarh
A CPRF assistant commandant Nitin lost his life on November 28 after two Improvised Explosive Devices (IED) that were placed by the naxals exploded in Chhattisgarh's Sukma district. Ten other security officials from the 206th battalion of Commando Battalion for Resolute Action (CoBRA) were being treated after they have been injured in the blast. Reportedly, the officials were returning from a naxal search operation during the blast.

Maharashtra: Five Naxals Including Four Women Get Killed In Police Encounter
The Maharashtra Police on October 18 gunned down five Naxals, including four women, in Gadchiroli district. Chhattisgarh: Five Naxals Carrying Bounty Killed By Their Own Members
Over the last two weeks, five Naxalites in Chhattisgarh's Bijapur district were killed by their own colleagues. The police stated that the Naxals had a bounty of Rs 1-3 lakh on their heads. Reportedly, the killing took place due to the internal disputes in CPI(Maoist) regarding the recent murders of civilians by the Naxals in South Bastar. In September, the Naxal leader Modiyam Vijja was shot dead by his subordinates.

Chattisgarh: CAF Soldier Kidnapped by the Naxals; Dead Body Found After Seven Days
Chattisgarh Armed Force (CAF) soldier's body was found tossed on the Gangalur-Bijapur Road, on September 18. Reportedly, the soldier was kidnapped seven days back and killed by Naxals. The victim was identified as Malluram Suryavanshi who was posted in the CAF's Pioneer Platoon. "The Gangalur Area Committee took responsibility for the murder" said the Superintendent of Police, Bijapur, Kamlochan Kashyap.

Chhattisgarh: Nine Naxals Booked Under Special Public Security Act
