Chhatisgarh Naxal Attack: 10 Police, 1 Driver Killed
Ten police personnel and a driver were killed in Chhattisgarh’s Dantewada district on Wednesday in the worst attack on security forces in the Maoist insurgency-hit central Indian state since April 2021. Furthermore, Police said an improvised explosive device (IED) was used to blow up their vehicle when the policemen were returning from an anti-Maoist operation. Visuals showed the blast left a crater at the scene of the attack.

Jharkhand: 5 Naxals Killed In Encounter Between Naxals & Police
In Jharkhand, an encounter broke out between Naxals and the State police, resulting in the death of five Naxals. Naxals Kill 37-Year-Old Maharashtra Man, Police Launches Investigation
In Maharashtra, Nagpur, the murder of Lucky Kumar Oksa, a 37-year-old man was reported by police, on June 23. As per sources, Naxals allegedly picked up the victim from his house in Malampodur village and murdered him. Lucky's body was found in the village on the morning of June 23. Furthermore, the police registered a case and launched an investigation, to identify the murderers and the reason behind it.

1 DRG Official Dies In Encounter With Naxals In Narayanpur: Chhattisgarh
In an encounter with the naxals, a District Reserve Guard (DRG) official was killed. The incident occurred in the jungle area near Mungari village of Chhattisgarh's Narayanpur, on May 4. "A jawan of DRG lost his life today in an encounter with naxals in the jungle near Mungari village", said Sadanand Kumar, Superintendent of Police (SP) in Narayanpur. Further details are awaited, as the operation is still going on.

Police Constable Injured In Encounter Between Naxals-Police In Maharashtra
An encounter broke out between police and Naxals in Maharashtra's Gadchiroli region, resulting in serious injuries to a police constable. On May 3, police said, the encounter started after a team of C-60 commandos, a specialized combat unit-Gadchiroli police were patrolling in the area. The Naxals opened fire on the police. Furthermore, the injured constable was rushed to a hospital and the area has been cordoned off.

7 Vehicles Involved In Sand Mining Set Ablaze By Naxals in Chhattisgarh
Seven vehicles involved in sand mining in Chhattisgarh were set ablaze by Naxals on April 18. IG P Sundarraj shared that while sand mining was underway in the Minagachal river, about seven of the vehicles involved in the process were set ablaze by the Naxals. He specified that the vehicles included 4 Hyva trucks and two JCBs. More details about the incident are awaited as investigation is currently underway.

Chhattisgarh Police Witnesses Surrender Of 44 Naxals
The Chhattisgarh police said that as many as 44 Naxals surrendered before it in the Chintalnar area of Sukma district, on January 1. Among 44 Naxals, nine are women cadres, reported ANI. Meanwhile, Superintendent of Police Sunil Sharma was also present. He said that one of the Naxals was carrying a bounty of Rs 2 lakh on his head. Reportedly, Naxals were welcomed by a feast.

25K+ Villages Lack Internet & Mobile Connectivity, Minister Reveals
