The National Congress Party (NCP) gave a statement on Ajit Pawar and his place in the Party. In a recent press meet in Baramati, Pawar refused to have any split or issues with Ajit Pawar, who recently joined Shiv Sena-BJP alliance and became Maharashtra's Deputy CM. Sharad Pawar said, "Yes, some leaders took a different stance but this can't be called a split. They can do so in a democracy,"

The Maharashtra Cabinet expansion is to happen on July 13, and Ajit Pawar is expected to get Finance Ministry.  Ajit Pawar recently rebelled against his uncle and mentor, NCP supremo Sharad Pawar and joined hands with Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde led Shiv Sena and BJP 'Mahayuti' government in Maharashtra. The announcement is likely to be made later on July 13. The new Cabinet ministry will be setback to oppositions.

Amid the ongoing turmoil in Maharashtra politics, the former National Congress Party (NCP) President Ajit Pawar is set to inaugurate new NCP office, near Mantralay, in Mumbai. The move came days after Ajit Pawar joined the Eknath Shinde-BJP in Maharashtra and took the oath as the State Deputy CM. Furthermore, Ajit Pawar, who switched parties claimed that he has support of half of the NCP leaders.

MP Sanjay Raut has received death threats, stated MLA and his brother Sunil Raut. He said that he and Sanjay Raut have been receiveing threat calls since June 8. This comes after reports of Sharad Pawar receiving death threats came to the fore, confirmed the National Congress Party. Furthernore, reports cited the caller threatening that Sanjay Raut should stop his "morning bhonga (morning press interaction.)

Sharad Pawar, who recently announced to quit as the President of the National Congress Party (NCP) said, he will take a final decision soon. Notably, the sudden decision of Pawar, the senior most leader and President of the NCP to quit as the Chief created a ruckus in the politics of Maharashtra. After several rounds of talks with NCP leader, Pawar has finally said he needs two days.
