Asian Games 2023: Neeraj Chopra Bags Gold, Kishore Jena Wins Silver

India's star javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra defended his Asian Games gold medal with a best throw of 88.88m in the final at Hangzhou. Neeraj Chopra beat his compatriot Kishore Jena for the top honour. Kishore Jena overtook Neeraj Chopra at one stage in the final with his personal best throw of 86.77m but he ended with a silver medal as Neeraj registered his best throw after, claiming on top.

Olympian Gold Medalist Refuses To Sign On National Flag, Wins Netizens

Athlete and World champion Neeraj Chopra won hearts of netizens with his sweet gesture, showing respect to the Indian National flag. After securing the gold medal at the World Athletic Championship, Neeraj Chopra was approached by one of his fans, asking for an autograph, on the tricolour flag. However, the olympian denied saying, "Mai waha nahi kar sakta." He instead signed the sleeve of the t-shirt of his fan.
