The National Board of Examinations (NBE) will open the online application window for the candidates who have already registered for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Masters of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS). The NBE said, the application correction window will be activated at 3 pm and will be open till February 5, for corrections in the application. Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin on August 30, said that the government apart from opposing National Education Entrance Test (NEET), is also against the National Education Policy (NEP). He stated that the NEP “is not a stepping stone, but a stumbling block”. He further stated, “we are resisting because we are a society which fought for the right to education”. The Delhi High Court agreed to hear a petition filed, demanding postponement of the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) 2022. On July 13, the plea was presented before the Chief Justice of the Delhi High Court, who listed the matter for an urgent hearing on July 14. In the petition, the students mentioned the inadequate time given to prepare for the medical entrance exam (NEET) scheduled for July 17.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the last date of registration for NEET UG 2022, to May 15. Earlier, the last date for registration was May 6, which has now been superseded. The extention had come as a blessing to students who were not able to register before May 6. Reportedly, the duration of the exam will be three hours and 20 minutes, and will be conducted offline.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the last date to apply for NEET UG 2022 from May 6 till May 15. The entrance test is slated for July 17 this year. According to reports, An 18-year-old girl committed suicide at a NEET coaching center in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. As per police, the suspected reason for the suicide could be a failed relationship. The girl was in a relationship with a student at the coaching center. However, the parents of the boy had asked him to return to his home in Madurai which lead to the suicide of the girl.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) official announced the National Eligibility, cum Entrance Test (NEET) - Undergraduate (UG) 2022 likely from July 2022. In addition, the application process (online registration) for the same will start in April. Furthermore, students are asked to keep a check on the official website nta.ac.in. This year, candidates above 25-years-old are also eligible, as NTA removed the upper age limit for NEET-UG.
