Netflix With Ad Likely To Affect Offline/Download Feature
Netflix is reportedly coming up with a new ad-supported tier for the users, making the platform's offline viewing feature unavailable to members on this low-end tier of the service. According to TechCrunch, within the Netflix iPhone app that suggested the streamer will block users from downloading titles to their devices for offline viewing. Seeing the success of Alia Bhatt's "Darlings", the makers of the film are planning to make a remake in Telugu & Tamil. Red Chillies Entertainment and Shah Rukh Khan Production decided to come up with the remake of Vijay Verma, Shefali Shah and Alia Bhatt's Netflix watch "Darlings" in regional languages. The movie is the most watched content on Netflix. "we decided to make it in multiple languages", said makers.
