Netflix With Ad Likely To Affect Offline/Download Feature

Netflix is reportedly coming up with a new ad-supported tier for the users, making the platform's offline viewing feature unavailable to members on this low-end tier of the service. According to TechCrunch, within the Netflix iPhone app that suggested the streamer will block users from downloading titles to their devices for offline viewing. Source said, "Downloads available on all plans except Netflix with ads".
