Massuer Rapes Woman From Netherland In Hotel: Jaipur

In Rajasthan's Jaipur, a woman from the Netherlands was allegedly raped at a hotel. Reportedly, in the pretext of giving an ayurvedic massage, the crime was committed. Furthermore, the accused has been arrested in just four hours and works as a massage service provider in Khatipura, Jaipur. However, DCP West Richa Tomar said that the police are interrogating the accused and a case has been registered.

New ‘Highly Virulent’ HIV Strain Discovered, Claim Researchers

A new virulent strain of HIV has been discovered in the Netherlands by researchers, at Oxford University. Individuals with the new variant had between 3.5 to 5.5 times higher levels of the virus in their blood than with other variants. However, the VB variant had similar immune system recovery and survival to individuals with other HIV variants. ''There's no cause for alarm with this new viral variant," stated a researcher.

More Physcial Activity Is good For Cardiovascular Disease Patients: Study

In a recent study published in the journal PLOS Medicine, researchers found that patients suffering cardiovascular disease should be encouraged for more physical activity. The study was based on 1,67,729 individuals living in the northern Netherlands. However, the study said the health benefits of physical activity in healthy individuals and those with cardiovascular risks level off at a certain volume of activity.

Three European Countries Jointly Apply To Host 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup

For the 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup, a consortium of three countries - Belgium, Netherlands, and Germany - has applied to be the host. By the end of 2020, the consortium will produce official documents detailing the plans to the sport regulator FIFA. Reportedly, the countries have selected slogan “Three Nations, One Goal" for the collaboration. The 2023 edition will be hosted by New Zealand and Australia.
