4 Arrested In BJP Leader Jitu Chaudhary Murder Case: Delhi
Delhi police have arrested four persons in connection with the killing of BJP leader Jitu Chaudhary, on April 24. The accused identified as Ujjwal alias Gaurav, Raja, Bittu and Saurabh Kataria, confessed to their crimes, said DCP. The accused were reportedly nabbed after tapping into over 500 CCTV cameras installed in the vicinity. Earlier on April 20, Jitu Chaudhary was shot dead in Mayur Vihar Phase 3.

SC Approaches For Probe Into Jahangirpuri Violence In Delhi
A letter petition has been filed in the Apex Court, requesting a fair and unbiased probe into the violence that had broken out in Delhi's Jahangirpuri on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti. Stone-pelting was also reported during the Hanuman Jayanti procession in the north-western area of Delhi., which left many injured critically. This marked the first such clash between two groups in the national capital since 2020 riot.

3 Arrested In Connection To ATM Robbery In Badarpur: Delhi
Police arrested three members from a Mewat-based gang for allegedly robbing an ATM. The accused identified as Imran (35), Salman (26), Shakeel (32), all residents of Haryana, robbed an ATM of a nationalised bank containing Rs 34 lakh, in Badarpur area of Delhi. Gang leader Imran has a criminal record of over 20 cases under his name, including that of a murder. Further investigation is underway.

Red Fort To Host Yoga Mahotsav On World Health Day
Ministry of Ayush is organising a grand programme for the demonstration of common yoga protocol at Red Fort on April 7, on the occasion of World Health Day. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla is expected to be the chief guest of the programme and the event will also be graced by the presence of several Union Ministers and VIPs. The programme is be held between 6:30AM to 8AM.

Textbook Lists Shocking Merits Of Dowry System, Surfaces
An image of a page from a book lists out the "merits and advantages" of the dowry system, in a post that has now gone viral. The book is, as per media reports, reading material for nursing students and apparently, its cover mentions that the book is written as per the Indian Nursing Council syllabus. Shiv Sena leader Priyanka Chaturvedi and Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan called to act immediately.

Delhi's Minimum Temparature Stands At 20.1°C; To Record Up To 35°C
Delhi on March 26, recorded an average temperature of 20.1 degree Celsius, which is "three notches" higher than the season's average, reported Indian Meteorological Department (IMD). The city will reportedly witness strong surface winds during the day and the temperature is likely to reach up to 35 degree Celsius. At 8:30 am, Delhi's humidity level stood at 56%. Furthermore, Delhi's Air quality remains in the "moderate" category.

Umar Khalid's Bail Plea Deferred Once Again: Delhi Riots
Delhi court hearing the bail plea of JNU student leader Umar Khalid in the Delhi violence case, deferred pronouncement of the order till March 23. Special Public Prosecutor Amid Prasad stated that adequate evidence is available against Khalid, including his chats. Umar Khalid was arrested on September 13, 2020 as a primary suspect in the northeast Delhi riots case which took the lives of 53 people and left hundreds injured.

7 Die In Gokulpuri Fire Incident, Investigation Launched: Delhi
Seven people died at the shanties of the Gokulpuri area in Delhi, after a fire broke out in early morning of March 12. Atleast 13 fire-extinguisher rushed to douse the fire, which burnt 30 huts. Police said they found seven bodies on the spot. The fire estimation was started at 4:00 AM as said by deputy commissioner of police (north-west) Devesh Kumar Mehla. Furthermore, an investigation has been launched.

CBI Arrests Ex-NSE CEO Chitra Ramkrishna, Investigation Underway
The CBI arrested the National Stock Exchange EX-CEO Chitra Ramkrishna, alleged for unfair practices and registered a case. On March 6, she was arrested from New Delhi residence, after a Delhi court rejected her anticipatory bail. Meanwhile, Ramkrishna had been accused of sharing confidential information about NSE to a "yogi who lives in the Himalayas".
