Amazon is rolling out a new variant of its Prime membership program for Android users in India, said to be yet another move to take on rivals like Flipkart. Titled Prime Shopping Edition, it is available to users at Rs 399 per year and offers free shipping, one-day deliveries and other shopping-related benefits that Amazon Prime users get. However, Prime Video, Music, Reading, Gaming, will not be available.

The feature will made be available to WhatsApp's 2 billion users in the coming weeks. It counts India as its largest market, with 487 million users. In the latest update, Meta owned WhatsApp has a new feature update. As per sources, WhatsApp is planning to introduce a new major feature 'audio chats' now, which will be playable only once and available within conversations in a future update. Google Chrome brings in a new fingerprint verification feature for incognito mode. The new feature will provide privacy and safety to users, especially at a time when cybercrime and online frauds are on the massive rise. "You can require biometric authentication when you resume an Incognito session that was interrupted. This is available to all Chrome users on iOS and currently rolling out to Android users," said Google.

Instagram's "Candid Challenge" feature will enable users to upload candid photographs on the photo-sharing network. Users who participate in the Candid Challenge will receive a reminder from the app at a predetermined time each day to record and upload their candid photo or video. It's unclear whether Instagram will introduce the feature anytime soon; according to one story, it's an "internal prototype" that's "not testing externally."

Google revealed introduction of a new feature to Google Meet, which will allow call admin to broadcast the conference directly on YouTube. It will be introduced in phases. The first is "rapid release," with the functionality becoming available to chosen domains in three days starting on July 21. The second will apply to domains that will undergo a "scheduled release" over the course of 15 days starting on July 25.
