RBI Raises Concern Over Unethical Loan Recovery Practices
The Reserve Bank of India raised concerns over the growing unethical loan recovery practices, usurious interest rates and data privacy issues, on September 21. It also flagged certain material concerns regarding the mushrooming of digital lending apps. Amid the need of the hour to ensure safety following a process of whitelisting and due diligence by the regulated entities, the RBI Governor Shaktikant Das raised the concerns.

Punjab Govt Approves Draft Of Electric Vehicles Policy
AAP-led Punjab Government recently approved to draft Electric Vehicle (EV) policy in the State. CM Bhagwant Mann gave a nod to draft the new EV policy, with an aim to promote electric vehicles in the Punjab region. The new policy will aim to reduce carbon emissions. Furthermore, the major thrust of the new policy will be in Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Amristar, Patiala and Bhatinda.

Bharat-Series Registration Launches As Part Of Vehicle Registration
Bharat-series (BH-series) registration marks for new cars are part of series of IT-based solutions for vehicle registration announced by the government. “This scheme will facilitate free movement of personal vehicles across states and union territories of India upon relocation to a new state/ union territory," said the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MORTH).
