Google To Block Age-Sensitive Ads Targeting Age, Gender

US tech giant Google will restrict advertisements targetting children based on their age, gender, or interests as part of new developments made to protect young users. The company said many features including location history, data history will be eliminated for the users under 18 years of age for their safety. According to the new policy, Google aims to remove images of children from search results.

Google Photos Free Unlimited Photo Storage Will End From June 1

Google Photos free storage policy for 'high resolution' and 'express resolution' photos is about to end on June 1. Moreover, the users relying on Google Photos to back up all pictures will need to pay for the cloud storage beyond 15GB free limit. Under the paid subscription, it has announced plans starting with Rs 130/month or Rs 1,300/year for 100GB. However, photos uploaded earlier will have no effect, confirmed Google.

Goa Cabinet Approves 'Tourism Policy 2020'; Plans To Mitigate Drugs

Goa Cabinet on October 14 approved the 'Tourism Policy 2020'. Speaking about the policy, State tourism minister, Manohar Ajgaonkar said the policy aims to give a "proper direction to the industry" and mitigate drugs in the state. He opined that the state should not be seen as a “drug destination.” Cooking in open spaces will be prohibited for tourists. Further, the policy aims to set up a Goa Tourism board.
