Jhulan Goswami Becomes First Bowler To Claim 250 Wickets In Women’s ODIs

Veteran Indian pacer Jhulan Goswami achieved a massive milestone during ICC Women’s ODI World Cup clash against England, on March 16. In addition, Goswami got the wicket of England's Tammy Beaumont. The 39-year-old became the first women bowler to reach the 250-wicket mark in women’s ODIs. Notably, Goswami held the record to become the first cricketer to take 40 wickets in the Women’s Cricket World Cups.

Mithali Raj Becomes 1st Woman Cricketer To Play In 6 ODI World Cups

Indian Cricketer Mithali Raj became the third cricketer and first woman in the men & women category, to play in six ODI World Cups. Prior to Mithali,  Indian cricketers Sachin Tendulkar and Javed Miandad were the ones to play six ODI World Cup. Notably, Mithali made this record while playing against Pakistan in the ongoing Women's World Cup in Mount Maunganui.

New Record: India Administers One Crore Vaccines Every Day

In connection to COVID vaccines, India has set a new benchmark by inoculating one crore vaccines every day for nearly a week to its citizens. Currently, the amount of vaccine India is administering every day "is more than the entire population of many countries." Meanwhile, PM Modi also praises Himachal Pradesh to become the first Indian state to administer the 'first dose' of the vaccine to all adults.
