Indian Engineer Help Building Jeff Bezos' 'New Shephard'
Sanjal Gavande hailing from Maharashtra’s Kalyan has lent a helping hand in building New Shephard, Blue Origin’s unmanned suborbital rocket. The 30-year-old engineer seems excited that her new work, the rocket will be launched on July 20 from the company’s “Launch Site One” in Texas. “I am really happy that my childhood dream is about to come true,” said Gavande.

Jeff Bezos Joins Blue Origin's Crew Flying To Space On July 20
Amazon founder Jeff Bezos on June 7 announced himself as a member of his space company Blue Origin's first crewed spaceflight, scheduled for July 20. Bezos stated, "On July 20, I will take that journey with my brother [Mark Bezos]." Besides, the company is also conducting a month-long auction process for a seat aboard the New Shepard rocket, for which the bidding amount has crossed $3-million mark till now.
