Newsclick Received Transmittals Worth Rs 30 Crore, Says ED
Enforcement Directorate (ED) has confirmed that the online portal 'Newsclick' received remittances from unwarranted sources between March 2018 and March 2020. Reportedly, it received Rs 30 crore of which a major chunk was given as salary to Bhima Koregaon case accused Gautam Navlakha. Delhi: ED Conducts Raid On Newsclick Office, Residence Of Journalists
Premises of Delhi-based independent media portal NewsClick.in was raided by Enforcement Directorate on February 9. Reportedly, the agency stormed residences of portal's owner Prabir Purkayastha and editor Pranjal.
