Asia Games 2023: Nikhat Zareen Secures Position In Paris Olympics 2024
Nikhat Zareen has confirmed a medal for herself in her maiden Asian Games appearance by virtue of reaching the semifinals. Secondly, and more importantly, she became the first Indian boxer to win a quota for the 2024 Paris Olympics. Indian boxer Nikhat Zareen has guaranteed India a medal at the ongoing Asian Games in Hangzhou. The two-time World Champion achieved this milestone by triumphing over Jordan's Nassar.

Boxer Nikhat Zareen Enters Semifinals Of BWC
Continuing her glory, Nikhat Zareen entered the semifinals of the Boxing World Championships, after defeating Raksat Chutamat of Thailand in the 50 kg category. With this, India is hoping a third gold medal in the Boxing World Championship. Earlier,Commonwealth Games champion Nitu Ghanghas (48 kg) and the seasoned Saweety Boora (81 kg) assured India of two medals after reaching the semifinals.
