Egypt Unearths 3000-Yr-Old 'Lost Golden City' Of King Amenhotep III Era

Archeologists in Egypt have unearthed a 3000-year-old city on the east bank of Nile river. Known as 'Aten' or the 'lost golden city', the historic city dates back to King Amenhotep III era, which existed from 1391-1353 BC. Collaborating with Egypt's Supreme Council of Antiquities, the archeologists also unearthed precious jewellery, including rings and pottery vessels.
