Gujarat BJP leader Nimisha Suthar has won the Gujarat’s Morva Hadaf constituency assembly by-polls on May 2. Nimisha defeated her closest rival of Congress Party by a huge margin of 45,649 votes. Reportedly, Congress’ Suresh Katara got 21,808 votes in the assembly reserved for scheduled tribes. Notably, the seat was vacant after independent MLA Bhupendrasinh Khant was disqualified in May 2019 for submitting invalid caste certificate.
