No reopening of schools in Nashik: NMC
The Nashik Municipal Corporation has denied opening of schools in the city although the city guardian minister had advised the civic body to think it through. Also, he said that he would have a word with Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray regarding the decision. The State Government had allowed the schools to reopen from Class 8th to Class 12th in places that were covid free for a month.

National Medical Commission To Regulate Medical Studies In India
National Medical Commission (NMC) replaced Medical Council of India (MCI) in regulating the medical education in the country from September 25. Reportedly, four autonomous bodies have been constituted to govern education and ethics in the medical field. Former Head of AIIMS ENT Department Dr Suresh Chandra Sharma has been appointed as the chairman of NMC for three years. Earlier, the NMC act was passed in August 2019 to replace MCI.
