Haryana Reimposes Mask Mandate In 4 Districts

The Haryana government has reimposed mask mandates in four of its districts. Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij says that the forced-masking policy has been reimposed as a "precautionary measure" in Gurugram, Faridabad, Jhajjar, and Sonipat. This comes as the highly-vaccinated national capital of Delhi recently saw a rise in the number of infections. Several experts, however, have repeatedly warned against unnecessary panic.

Broadway Mask Mandate Extended Till May End

The Broadway League has officially extended the mask mandate for all its patrons till May 31. This announcement comes as several countries and US states have already done away with Covid-related restrictions. The Broadway League, however, has finally decided to lift its vaccine mandate for the audience after this month. The move would allow the theatre-owners to let in attendees, regardless of their Covid vaccination status.
