US Fishermen Capture A Rare Black Melanistic Alligator Gar In Texas
Justin Jordan and Terrell Maguire of United States captured a rare melanistic alligator gar in Texas. The jet-black beast was roughly 5-feet tall and could reach "enormous lengths." Mr. Jordan posted images of the beast to social media, with some calling it a “creature from alien." They are rare and endangered, and their hue is generally dark green or olive. They can only be found in North and Central America.

23,000 Year Old Footprints Found In US: New Chapter In Human History
Ancient footprints have been found in the United States dating back 23,000 years, implying that people inhabited North America much before the end of the last Ice Age, as per a study published in the journal Science on September 23. The footprints were discovered in silt on the shores of a long-dried-up lake, now part of the New Mexico desert. Reportedly, the sediments were marked and solidified into hard rock.

Study Claims Cooking With Biomass Fuels Lead To High Risk Of Lung Damage
A study by Iowa University and Periyar Maniammai Institute of Science and Technology has shown that people cooking with biomass fuels are more vulnerable to lung damage. The researchers used comparative Advanced CT scan imaging to prove that lungs of biomass users had a higher level of trapped pollutants than those using LPG. It also mentioned biomass pollutants are capable of killing around 4 million people from household air pollution.

Canada's Boundaries To Remain Closed For Tourists Till October 31
