5 Bangladesh Nationals Sent Back Home After Treating For Mental Ailments
Five Bangladesh nationals were sent back to their country after recovering from mental ailment issues at Modern Psychiatric Hospital in West Tripura's Narsingarh on April 2. They strayed into Indian soil unknowingly and were rescued from different locations in Tripura from 2015. Earthquake Of 6.4 Magnitude Jolts Assam, Cracks Houses; No Casualties
Assam has been jolted with a 6.4 magnitude earthquake as several parts of the northeast felt strong tremors repeatedly on April 28. According to the National Centre for Seismology, the epicenter was 43km west of Tezpur district and the quakes emerged from 17km beneath the Earth's surface. Although no casualties have been reported, pictures of cracked walls have surfaced. Meanwhile, PM Narendra Modi has promised help from the Centre.

IIT-Guwahati, NFR Signs MoU To Improve Operation, Expansion In Northeast
