Central Govt Extended Date For Aadhar Card, PAN Card Link
The Government of India announced a new date to link Aadhar Cards with PAN cards. As per the central government notice, the new date is said to be June 30. It said that notification in this regard is being issued separately. Linking PAN with Aadhaar is important to help curb tax evasion. The CBDT also mentioned the penal action a taxpayer will have to face from July 1.

Hundi Collection On Hold, Union Ministry Issues Order To TTD
With its registration under the FCRA (Foreign Contribution Regulation Act) under “suspension” for the past three years, the country’s richest religious Trust, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD), faces an unprecedented situation. The Union Ministry FRCA wrote to the TTD, asking them to not make any foreign contributions, described as 'Hundi' donations.

AP: Rajamahendravaram Road Railway Bridge Close For One Week Amid Repair Works
In Andhra Pradesh, East Godavari district collector K Madhavilatha issued an official notification regarding the closure of the Rajamahendravaram road-cum-railway bridge. The bridge will be closed for one week, starting from October 14, amid repair works, said the notice. Haryana Govt Orders To Halt Cough Syrup Production In Maiden Pharmaceuricals Ltd
The Haryana Government has ordered to completely halt the production of cough syrups at Sonipat-based company Maiden Pharmaceuticals Limited. The development comes after the company was recently flagged by the World Health Organisation (WHO), in wake of the deaths of 66 children in The Gambia. On October 12, the company also received a show cause notice for 12 violations found at its manufacturing plant, said government.

SC Issues Notice To Central Govt Regarding Demands Of Evacuated Ukraine Students
The Supreme Court reviewed a bunch of pleas filed by the evacuated Indians studying medicine in Ukraine and issued notice to the Central Government. On August 26, the Apex Court bench led by Justice Hemant Gupta, directed government to file reply to the demands of students, seeking permission to continue medicine studies in India, as Ukraine is a war-hit region after Ukraine invasion. The matter has been listed in September.
