NTPC Records 21.7% Increase In Power Generation In April-June 22
NTPC group companies registered an increase of 21.7% from 85.8 BU generated in the corresponding quarter last year to 104 BU, in QFY3. On July 8, the company revealed that in June’22, generation was 34.8 BU, higher by 29.3% compared to 26.9 BU in June’21 indicating improved performance along with increased power supply demand. Notably, the NTPC thermal plant in Odisha is the highest generating thermal power plant.

Students' Union Call For Bihar Bandh Over 'Discrepancies' In NTPC Exam
All India Students' Union (AISA) and other youth organisations have called for "Bihar bandh" on January 28. They termed the committee of Union Railway Ministry as a "hoax", whivh was formed to look into the concerns of aspirants of alleged irregularities in Railway Recruitment Board's NTPC exam results. 7 Lakh Candidates Shortlisted For Level 2: RRB NTPC Results 2021
The most awaited Railway Recruitment Board result 2021 for CTB 1 exams has been released for most of the regions. Those who have appeared for RRB exams can check their results on the region-wise official website at rrbcdg.gov.in. "Railways shortlisted 7 lakh candidates for NTPC Level 2 Examination," Southern Railway tweeted. The exams were held between December 28, 2020, and July 31, 2021. The recruitment is held in three phases.

NTPC To Commission India's Largest Floating Solar Power Plant In May
The National Thermal Power Corporation is all set to commission India's largest floating solar power plant at Ramagundam in May 2021.
