Apple iPhone 13 Pro Falls Into Water, Discovered Undamaged After 5 Hours

An Apple iPhone 13 Pro that was dropped into the English Channel by mistake survived five hours in the water. “7 hours until the tide went out & it turned itself back on. I tracked it down & remarkably no damage after being in the sea for over 5hr,” said the owner. The user uploaded a snapshot of the Find My app, which he used to find his phone.

Experts reported on September 30 that lava from erupting volcano on La Palma in Spain's Canary Islands began pouring into the ocean two days ago, raising fears about poor air quality in surrounding residential areas. It's being cautioned that a predicted shift in the wind might bring additional dangers. In Tazacorte, people have been advised to stay at home as sulphur dioxide levels rose in atomosphere.

China Launches Haiyang-2D Oceanography Satellite To Monitor Oceans

China launched Haiyang-2D (HY-2D), new ocean observation satellite, through the Long March-4B rocket on May 19 from its Jiuquan Launch Centre. Forming a constellation with HY-2B, HY-2C and HY-2D China will create a system for an all-weather round-the-clock reporting to monitor ocean environment and help in climate change findings.
