Indian star crickters Ravindra Jadeja and Kuldeep Yadav became the first pair of Indian left-arm spinners to take seven wickets or more in an ODI encounter. The duo achieved the feat during India's five-wicket win over West Indies in Barbados, in July 27 match. While Kuldeep was the pick of the Indian bowlers with figures of 4/6 , Jadeja took three wickets for 37 runs.

Bangladesh ODI Captain Tamim Iqbal Announces Retirement
Bangladesh One Day International (ODI) Captain Tamim Iqbal announced retirement, on July 6. The shocking announcement came ahead of the ODI World Cup 2023, putting an end to his 16-year-old cricket career. Tamim was extremely emotional and in tears as he made the announcement, "This is the end for me. I have given my best. I have tried my best. I am retiring from international cricket from this moment."

Pakistan Team To Fly To India For ICC World Cup?
Pakistani Cricket team will be getting a visa for entering India and playing the One Day International (ODI) match. According to sources, India will be hosting the ICC World Cup 2023, scheduled in October-November. However, it is yet unclear if the green team will be travelling to India, and play the fifty over game, after earlier India refused to travel to Pakistan and play Asian tournament.

Indian cricketer Deepak Chahar suffered an ankle twist injury, and is set to rule out of the Indian One Day International (ODI) against South Africa. On October 9, the sources said, due to injury Chahar is likely to miss the remaining two games. The source added, "So it will be team management's call if they would like to risk Deepak as he is in T20 World Cup stand-by list."

Rohit Sharma Overcomes Kane Williamson To Become Visiting Batsman With Most ODI Runs Scored In England
India skipper Rohit Sharma has overtaken New Zealand captain Kane Williamson to become the highest ODI run-scorer as a visiting batsman in England on July 12. Rohit currently has 1411 runs in 25 innings, surpassing Williamson's previous best of 1393 runs in 23 innings. Rohit and Shikhar Dhawan also carved their names in history by becoming only the fourth opening partnership in ODI history to reach 5000 runs together.
