Amid a clash in dates of the ODI-series and Cricket South Africa (CSA) new franchise T20 League, the CSA announced to withdrawal from the ODI-series against Australia, in January 2023. On July 13, the CSA said, their men's-national-team will not be playing the three-ODIs, which form part of the ICC Super League matches. As a consolatory victory, India has defeated Australia by 13 runs in the final ODI at Canberra's Manuka Oval. Batting first, the men-in-blue have put a below-par total of 302 losing 5 wickets. Though the Aussies had neared the target, fall of wickets at regular interval have cost them the game.
