CBI Arrests 3 Railway Officials In Balasore -Odisha Tragedy
The Central Bureau of Investigation on Friday arrested three employees of the Indian Railways in connection with the horrific train accident in Odisha's Balasore last month that killed more than 293 people, and left over 1,000 injured. Man Held With Gold Biscuits Worth Rs 50 Lakhs: Assam
Six gold biscuits, smuggled from Myanmar and worth nearly Rs 50 lakh, were recovered from a person travelling by train to Delhi for selling the metal to a jeweller, confirmed an RPF official on September 15. The accused, Mahesh Kumar, who claims to be a resident of West Bengal was caught on board the Awadh Assam Express with a gold of weight one kg, hidden inside his socks.

7-Member Team To Visit Bengal To Review Damages By Cyclone Yaas
A central team of seven members will visit West Bengal on June 6to examine the damage caused by cyclone Yaas. In a three-day visit, the inter-ministerial team will assess the affected areas of South 24 Parganas district, followed by a meeting with officials. Reportedly, the team will also visit Digha and Mandarmani in Purba Medinpur. As per reports, the team will also hold meeting with finance department officials.
