Calcutta University Students Protest Against Offline Exams, Says Teaching Isn't Enough
Approximately 200 students of Calcutta University protested against the offline examination of UG and PG at College Street, Kolkata. On May 27, the students gathered outside the main campus and said two-months of classroom teaching was not enough for finishing the syllabus of a six-month semester. "This (offline exam) is possible only if exams are held in an open book format like the last two years," said a student.

CBSE Term-II Exam Notification Issued, Offline Exams From April 26
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) released term-II exam dates for class 10 and 12, to be held from April 26. On February 9, the board released the notice, conducting offline exams as per sample paper pattern for subjective exams. Term-I was conducted last year, and results are expected on February 10. Furthermore, a detailed date sheet would soon be released on the official website of the CBSE, cbse.gov.in.

Goa University Postpones Offline Exams Amid COVID-19 3rd Wave
The Goa University postponed its offline exams, scheduled from January 14 by three weeks due to the COVID-19 surge. The exams will now be held from February 7 onwards. As per the circular issued, final year examinations will be held in physical or offline mode whereas, for students of the undergraduate programme, it will take place in online mode, said University authority.
