Another E-Scooters Catches Fire, Alarms Concern In India
In Tamil Nadu's Hosur, an Okinawa e-scooter caught fire when Satish Kumar noticed and jumped on time, saving his life. This is not the only incident, in the past India reported over a dozen of such cases, killing people. Okinawa, which was blamed even decided to recall 3215 of its scooters to fix the issue. Furthermore, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari also assured to penalize companies with fault.

E-vehicle manufacturer Okinawa Autotech has launched a new electric two-wheeler, specifically targetting the delivery businesses. Named Dual, the customisable two-wheeler comes with a 200-kg loading capacity and can deliver gas cylinders, water cans, groceries, medicines, and other heavy and daily items.
