Ola Electric Scooter Records Rs. 1,100 Crore Sales Within 2 Days
Ola Electric Scooters managed to make sales worth over Rs. 1,100 Crores during September 15 to 16. Major portion of the sale is due to the S1 and S1 Pro models. Ola claims to have sold four scooters every second on September 15. Ola is planning the second purchase window starting November 1 during the festive season, till then new bookings are deferred after their website ran into technical difficulties.

Ola Scooter Launches Its New Electric Model On Independence Day
On the occasion of 75th Independence day, Ola Scooter launched its first electric scooter in the Indian market in two variants, S1 and S1 Pro. The S1 provides a top speed of 90kmph, priced at Rs 99,999, and the S1 Pro offers a speed of 115kmph, priced at Rs1,25,999. Reportedly, Ola's new electric model has been regarded as the most pre-booked scooter worldwide, the company claims.

Ola To Step Foot In Second-Hand Car Retail Market: Ola Cars
Bengaluru-based Indian company Ola is set to make its entry into the used car retailing business, naming it ''Ola Cars''. Reportedly, the business is likely to start by August from Bengaluru and will take on companies like Spinny and CarDekho. Under this business model, the companies buy second-hand cars, renovate them and sell them. Besides, Ola's electric scooter is already in the market.
