'Oldest Man Who Ever Lived' Dies Aged 127, Family Calls Guinness World Records

Natabay Tinsiew, from Africa's Eritrea, died in his remote village of Azefa at the age of 127, on September 27. His family has sought Guinness World Records to officially recognise him as the oldest person to have ever lived. Records from the church show his birth certificate with the year of his baptism in 1894. Upon getting recognised, Tinsiew would officially be the record holder, surpassing Jeanne Calment.
