Mumbai: Mobile Library Set Up To Help Students Belonging to Economically Weaker Section
In an initiative to help the economically weaker section gain access to online education, Mumbai Municipal in collaboration with Private Urdu Teachers Union has setup an unique "free digital online mobile education library" in Imamwada, Mumbai. The centre in-charge said that 22 students have enrolled, so far and the classes are being conducted from 8 am to 3 pm. Goa: Students Trek 3 km Everyday to Take Online Classes
A group of 25 students in South Goa, trek 3km everyday in search of better internet signals to attend online classes. The students, from villages in Sanguem Taluka, climb atop Kumari hill in Netravati Wildlife Sanctuary, to get Internet connectivity. They sit shelter-less on rocks amid fear of snakes crawling on the plateau. Neelima Ekdo, an engineering student said, “We come here by 8:10am and return by 1pm after classes get over.”

Sonu Sood In Collaboration With 'Indus' & 'Airtel' Installs Mobile Towers to Help Children
Bollywood actor Sonu Sood and his friend Karan Gilhotra took an initiative of 'installing a mobile tower' to help the students of Haryana's Morni village. 'Indus Towers' and 'Airtel' have collaborated together in-order to help students access internet and attend online classes. Reportedly, the approach escalated after a video went viral over the internet, 'where a child is witnessed sitting on a tree's branch for the mobile signal.'

Jharkhand: Teachers, Volunteers Conduct Mohalla Schools in Dumka
Teachers and volunteers in Jharkhand’s Dumka district are teaching students in unique Mohalla schools. The students solve questions on the blackboards painted on walls while the instructor uses speakers to teach. Petition Urges To Formulate Policy On Online Classes
The Supreme Court has received a PIL requesting to direct the Centre to formulate guidelines related to online classes. The petition stated that use of online application to conduct classes could expose the children to "obnoxious" materials available on the internet. It stated the children can become victim of cyber crime as well. It also urged the Centre to focus on Economically Weaker Sections' students who cannot afford online classes.

Assam Schools to Reopen Partially from September 21
Assam government confirmed that the schools will reopen partially from September 21. The state education department announced that students of grade 9 and 12 will have classes in forenoon, and of grade 10 and 11, in the afternoon. It also stated the students are allowed to come only with a written consent from parents. Reportedly, the decision came as many government schools were unable to conduct online classes for students.

Delhi HC: Schools Must Provide Accessories Required For Online Classes
On September 18, Delhi High court declared that the Private schools providing Online-classes is a responsibility under Right To Education (RTE) Act, not social service.
