Smart Model Village With Free Wifi Connection In Maha's Latur

Free wifi has been provided to a village in Maharashtra’s Latur district as a part of the initiative Sundar Maza Gav suggested by divisional commissioner Sunil Kendrekar and BaLA (Building as Learning Aid) initiative of Zilla Parishad CEO Abhinav Goyal. The initiative is taken forward to make represent the village as a smart model village. The free wifi will aid the school and college students to attend classes online.

Despite Age Limit, 37.8% Of Kids Aged 10 Yrs Access Facebook: Study

A study covering 5,811 participants has revealed that, despite the minimum age barrier, 37.8% of children aged 10 years access Facebook, and 24.3% use Instagram. However, Instagram was found to be more popular among children. Reportedly, the age limit for creating a Facebook or an Instagram account is 13 years. Besides, it is found that 62.8% of children access the internet through their parents' phones.

Byju's Acquires US Based Digital Reading Platform 'Epic' For $500 Mn

In a bid to expand its presence in the USA's education market, Bangalore-based startup Byju's will acquire the digital reading platform "Epic" for $500 million. School Dropout Rate Least in West Bengal: ASER 2020
