Karnataka Issues Guidelines To Mitigate Ill-effects Of Online Classes On Eyes
Taking cognisance of ill-effects of online classes on children's eyes, Karnataka government has formulated guidelines to mitigate such issues. The government has taken recommendations of an experts panel into consideration in this regard. It directed that online classes for students of class 1-5 cannot exceed 30 minutes in one stretch, while for above classes the limit is 45 minutes. Mumbai: Mobile Library Set Up To Help Students Belonging to Economically Weaker Section
In an initiative to help the economically weaker section gain access to online education, Mumbai Municipal in collaboration with Private Urdu Teachers Union has setup an unique "free digital online mobile education library" in Imamwada, Mumbai. The centre in-charge said that 22 students have enrolled, so far and the classes are being conducted from 8 am to 3 pm. Mumbai University Officials Suspect Cyber Attack In Online Exam
Mumbai University’s 'Institute of Open and Distance Learning'(IDOL) exams were compromised by cyber attacks on October 6. Students told that on clicking the exam-link a message reading ‘No exams scheduled’ appeared.
