Calcutta University Students Protest Against Offline Exams, Says Teaching Isn't Enough

Approximately 200 students of Calcutta University protested against the offline examination of UG and PG at College Street, Kolkata. On May 27, the students gathered  outside the main campus and said two-months of classroom teaching was not enough for finishing the syllabus of a six-month semester. "This (offline exam) is possible only if exams are held in an open book format like the last two years," said a student.

TCS National Qualifier Test Opens Registration Process For Candidates

The registration process of the National Qualifier Test (NQT) conducted by Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) will be open for the applicants who want to appear for the August 2021 and November 2021 exams. Firms apart from TCS recruit the candidates who clarified the exam. The score of the exam remains valid for two years. Applicants presently at the UG, PG, and Diploma pre-final or final year can apply.

Mizoram University Students Trek 2 Km Uphill To Give Online Exams

Around 23 students in Mizoram trek uphill for nearly two kilometers through forest for internet access to give their even semester undergraduate exams. The lack of internet access due to the terrain in their hometown led them to write exams from makeshift huts made of bamboo, tarpaulin and banana leaves. Complaining of fleeting mobile network and 2G internet, two similar huts were raised in Lunglei and Siaha districts.
