Union Govt Issues Fresh Guidelines To Avail OPD Facilities By Pensioners
The GOI issued fresh instructions under the CGHS for pensioners, to avail OPD facilities and Fixed Medical Allowance (FMA) on March 24. As per the new instructions, a new procedure lay out has been announced to change FMA to OPD, once in lifetime. Now, pensioner needs to submit document to CGHS bank for discontinuation of FMA to avail OPD, vice-versa. After receiving application, the authority will issue a CGHC certificate.

Delhi Resumes OPDs, Surgeries At Govt Hospitals As COVID Cases Drop
The Delhi government on January 27 ordered the resumption of all medical services, including OPDs and surgeries, at government and society-run hospitals. The decision was taken seeing the drop in active COVID-19 cases in the national capital. Reportedly, on January 26, the health department recorded mere 157 fresh COVID-19 cases.
