Operation Muskan

Under a campaign launched to rescue missing and abducted girls, the Madhya Pradesh Police have rescued over 2,444 minors in January 2021. According to an official, a total of 3,122 cases of missing and kidnapped girls remained pending in January. Under 'Operation Muskan,' about 82% of the missing girls were found in Madhya Pradesh, and the rest were found in the states including Punjab, Telangana, Kerala, Karnataka, and Assam.
