India Has Over 11.4 Lakh Pending Family Cases: Lok Sabha Debate
During the Monsoon Parliament session, a discussion over pending family cases was held in the Lok Sabha. On July 26, Kaushalendra Kumar of Janata Dal-United said, over 11.4 lakh cases are pending in family courts in India, demanding their speedy settlement, under the Family Court Act. Notably, the discussions were held after Union Law Minister Kiren Rijiju moved Family Courts (Amendment) Bill, 2022, for consideration and debate.

Baseless Allegations By Opposition, Says Anurag Thakur
Union Minister Anurag Thakur denied the allegations of the opposition over PM Modi's silence in communal violence incident. On April 16, Thakur said, opposition leaders are trying to spread hatred in the country and urged people to not listen to them and maintain peace and harmony. He further questioned Congress about the violence and hate speech in Rajasthan, asking to take strict action against such violence in Congress-led Rajasthan.

Rajya Sabha Adjourned Amid Ruckus Over Fuel Price Hike: Delhi
The Rajya Sabha proceedings have been suspended over the ruckus created by the opposition leaders of Congress, TMC, and other parties in the Parliament. The Speaker adjourned the proceedings till 2:00 pm, after the opposition raised slogans and demanded discussion over the fuel price hike, in Question Hour of the Rajya Sabha. With this, it is the second time that the Rajya Sabha proceedings have been adjourned in the day.
