Opposition INDIA Submits Memorandum To President: Manipur Assault
Opposition bloc INDIA submitted a memorandum to President Droupadi Murmu over their demand for PM Narendra Modi's statement in Parliament on the Manipur issue. They also demanded that the prime minister visit the strife-torn state to restore peace. In violence-hit Manipur, at least 30 people went missing in the past three months, said reports. Neither the Manipur government, nor the state police able to find these missing people, who went out of their houses like usual, but never returned home.
