Kerala-based photographer Thomas Vijayan has won the 'Nature TTL Photographer of 2021.' Titled as 'The World is Going Upside Down,' Vijayan’s photo of an Orangutan hanging from a tree was declared winner among 8000 entries. The jury awarded £1500 for the shot freezed from a tree-top waiting for hours. Mentioning the issue of reducing numbers of Orangutans, Vijayan said, his image will help spread the issue to the wider world.
