SC Issues Notice To Centre Amid Plea Challenging Ordinance
In a relief to the Arvind Kejriwal-led Delhi Government, the Supreme Court issued a notice to the Central Government. On July 10, the Apex Court reviewed the plea against the ordinance passed seeking control of services by the Delhi Government. In the notice, the SC bench asked the Central Government led by the BJP to file a reply, explaining their stand on the ordinance in Delhi.

"Hope Congress Will Clear Stand On Ordinance" Says Kejriwal
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) President Arvind Kejriwal has threatened to walk out of the united opposition if the Indian National Congress doesn't support the AAP Ordinance. AAP Govt Seeks Congress Support Over Ordinance Row
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal sent a third message to Congress, seeking support against the Centre's proposed law to restore Lieutenant Governor's control over transfer and postings of bureaucrats in the national capital. The Congress has so far been on the fence of the Centre's executive order last month which nullified a Supreme Court order that upheld the elected government's control over bureaucrats.
