'When You Hurt My Child, You Hurt Me': Chris Rock's Mother Speaks Out

Around a month after the infamous Will Smith-Chris Rock Oscars incident, Rock's mother is finally speaking out. Rose Rock has shared that her son is still processing the incident. Commenting on the Will Smith's slap incident, she said, "When you hurt my child, you hurt me." She further stated that she feels very proud of the way her son Chris, handled the situation.

Netflix Holds Will Smith Fast and Loose Amid Oscar Slap Incident

Will Smith starred project, 'Fast and Loose' has been kept on hold by Netflix after the slapping incident at the Oscars 2022. The 53-year-old actor slapped the host, comedian Chris Rock after the comedian cracked a few jokes, including one about the actor's wife, Jada Pinkett Smith's shaved head. According to reports, the director of the film, David Leitch also pulled away from the project.

India Nominates 'Shameless' For Oscar Award Under Short Film Category

India has pushed 'Shameless' as its official nominee for the Oscar award under the 'Live Action Short Film' category. Directed and written by Keith Gomes, the film stars Sayani Gupta, Rishabh Kapoor and Hussain Dalal. The movie was selected from a five-movie list. The other four movies included Natkhat, Sound Proof, Safar and Trapped. "I have to thank my incredible cast an my crew," said the director.
