China Furthers its Weight in World University Rankings; Oxford Tops
China’s Tsinghua University is the first Asian institution to break into the top 20 in World University Rankings. Beijing also doubled its renditions, from 3 (2019) to 6 (2020) in the top-100 arena. Experts believe, as the students stay back due to the COVID-19, China will benefit, while the US and UK may lose significant international student talent. Meanwhile, Oxford University retained its top spot for the 5th consecutive time.

Covid-19 Vaccine: Serum Institute Begins Phase II Trial of Oxford Vaccine
The Serum Institute of India (SII) in Pune started the second phase of Oxford COVID-19 Vaccine with two male volunteers at Bharati Vidyapeeth’s Medical College and Hospital on August 26. The director of the medical college and hospital, Dr. Sanjay Lalwani stated, "The volunteers live within five kilometers radius of the hospital. They'll be monitored and if they have any problem within seven days, they'll report to us".
