Railway Delays Train To Arrange Oxygen Cylinder For Little Girl In Karnataka
To help a six-year-old girl, Jainab Mondal, who recently recovered from a brain tumour, South Western Railway delayed the Howrah Duronto train for 26 minutes at Karnataka's Yeshwanthpur railway station on October 24. Nepal Urges Everest Climbers To Bring Back Empty Oxygen Cylinders
The Nepal Mountaineering Association on May 10 urged the Mt Everest climbers to bring back the empty oxygen cylinders for reuse. Experiencing the second COVID wave, Nepal is facing acute shortage of oxygen and cylinders. It is estimated that climbers and their Sherpa guides have carried nearly 3,500 oxygen cylinders during April- May. Reportedly, the cylinders are either left after the expeditions or they get buried under in avalanches.

Actor and philanthropist Sonu Sood has won hearts again after he arranged oxygen cylinder for cricketer Suresh Raina's aunt in ten minutes as he promised. Raina on May 6 had tweeted the details, tagging UP CM Yogi Adityanath, for any leads on medical assistance for his aunt in Meerut. Coming across the tweet, the actor immediately responded with, "Oxygen cylinder reaching in 10 mins bhai."

Police Arrest Man For Duping People Over Oxygen Cylinders, Vaccine Jabs
The Chandigarh Police on May 2 arrested Kapurthala-based Sachin Grover who allegedly duped people on social media by promising oxygen cylinders and COVID-19 vaccines. As per the police, Grover used to charge Rs 10,000 for cylinders and Rs 4,500 for a vaccine shot but did not respond after receiving the payment. The police added he has been a known offender who earlier lured youngsters, promising entry in Punjabi entertainment industry.

UP: Ex-COVID Positive Businessman Refills Oxygen Cylinder At Just Rs 1
Manoj Gupta, a businessman from Uttar Pradesh's Hamirpur district, is winning hearts as he has been refilling oxygen cylinder of patients and those facing shortages at just Rs 1. Gupta reportedly owns an oxygen bottling plant and has so far filled over 1,000 cylinders for people approaching him from different districts. Claiming himself to be a former COVID patient, Gupta said, "I understand the pain and trauma of COVID-19 patients."

UP Government Mandates Doctor's Prescription To Avail Oxygen Cylinders

MP: Oxygen Cylinders Looted From A Truck At Damoh District Hospital
Amid desperate situations rising during fresh COVID surge, a case of oxygen cylinder stealing has been reported in Madhya Pradesh's Damoh on April 21. As per the District Collector, the looting happened when a group of miscreants swarmed at the truck carrying the cylinders as it entered the hospital. The DC said that while the hospital had no shortage of oxygen, a complaint has been lodged to identify them.
